2010, Galeria Arsenal

We asked staff of Galeria Arsenal in Białystok, Poland to select objects they would like to see decay in Second Life. The staff sent us photographs of about 30 objects. We built 3D models of those objects, uploaded them into the virtual world of Second Life, placed them at our public SL dumpster, added the decay script we had developed for that SL dumpster and recorded how these virtual objects decayed over a period of time. In the gallery we played these decay loops back on TV monitors that were facing the original objects.
