The show was reviewed by Natasha A. Chuk in the fall issue of Millennium Film Journal. The issue was guest-edited by Barbara London and considers questions surrounding the meaning and makeup of worlds: geographies, ideas, mediums, and people.

from the review: Upon entering, visitors were immediately greeted by Flowers (2020), a 12-channel installation in a kind of mise-en-scene resembling the makings of a campfire. Eteam (Franziska Lamprecht and Hajoe Moderegger) created animations of synthetic plant forms and paired them with vocal and instrumental sounds contributed by friends and fellow artists from all over the world during lockdown. 12 monitors were arranged on the floor in the shape of a large circle surrounding small tree stumps for stools. The silence and stillness of the flowers are transformed in this fantasy setting, gesturing towards filling a social void during a time of social distancing and isolation. However, the work retained some aspects of social separation, as participants were encouraged to watch and listen (via headphones) independently of others in the circle, with their backs facing each other. The work seemed to tease out the benefits and challenges of networked technologies, demonstrating their ability to bring us together while instinctively keeping us apart, but it also underlined the hypnotic appeal of the digital image, which is reinforced by each video’s mesmerizing score.
